The poor and the homeless are desperate for water, their tongues parched and no water to be found. But I'm there to be found, I'm there for them and I, God of Israel will not leave them thirsty”. (Isaiah 41:17).

God wants us to give special attention to the children in our inner cities, left on the streets. Many of them are frustrated for lack of opportunities and some of these little children die everyday out of starvation with none to help. Others are used by their parents or guardians to beg on the street. When a young child is made a beggar from a tender age, he would surely become a violent adult; he would take out his anger and frustration in society.

According to the bible, Children are a blessing and a gift from the Lord (Psalm127:3); they are a gift of trust and God expects them to be raised in the right manner (Proverbs22:6KJV). It is therefore important that we as God's children give them special attention and care whether or not they are our own children. This is the reason we must do something now, it is our responsibility to reach them and give them hope. Our Lord Jesus Himself showed special love to the children during His earthly ministry; on one occasion, He rebuked those who tried to stop the little children from coming to Him. (Matthew: 19:13-15).God has graciously blessed us with the opportunity to reach out to street children and thanks to your partnership, we are  able to touch their lives in a unique way through our various programs.

The Outreach Program
The past few months have witnessed unprecedented growth in our outreach to the inner cities; we have pioneered new Outreach Centers and organized special outreaches to Squatter settlements under bridges, on the rubbish heaps etc. and taking along food, clothing, medical supplies, bringing them the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Reconciliation Program
Our outreach team is on the streets daily as such it is easy for us to identify new “tenants” on the streets. More often than not we are able to reconcile such children with their families thus preventing them from becoming Street Children.  
    
 The LoveWorld Academy
Presently, we provide free education to children in pre-primary, primary and secondary school; we also have a special Vocational Class. Apart from being tuition free, students receive textbooks, writing materials, lunch, school uniforms depending on their need, absolutely free external examinations are also fully paid for.

The Shelter Program
Through our Shelter Program, we take children ranging from 3-10 years old off the street to the safety of our shelter. Everything from clothing to sanitary needs, healthcare needs, social needs & food is provided for the children in our care.

The Feeding Program
Children in our Shelter are fed with sumptuous and nourishing three-square meals daily complete with fruits, healthy snacks and drinks.

Our Kitchen presently provides all the students of the LoveWorld Academy with a nutritious and balanced lunch. The Kitchen also provides finger-licking party treats for our monthly birthday parties and other special celebrations like Easter, Children's Day etc.
